So after the roughest two weeks of my life, financially and emotionally (LOTS of family issues) FH and I decided that it would be in OUR best interest to move the wedding date up… from January 2010 to this August! And that’s in…. 3 months! We both pretty much just got sick and tired of our wedding turning into this monstrosity that was spinning out of our control and our budget. So we scaled back considerably (as in family and wedding party only at the ceremony, friends will be invited to the reception only) and we are SO much happier with our decision! We already have nearly everything booked, except catering, and it’s only Monday! I just wanted to share the good news with the hive! Oh, and if anyone has any suggestions about good online wholesale floral suppliers, that would be extremely helpful. 🙂

Congrats, Miss Snowflake! You’re getting married in 3 months! It’s so cool that you realized your wedding was getting out of control and decided to change it to really reflect you and your Fi. I’m so excited for you!
For online wholesale flowers, I really like http://www.growersbox.com. They have a lot of variety, good prices, and you can even buy a "wedding in a box." Keep us posted on your progress!

COngrats Miss Snowflake! SOudns like you made the best decision for your situation.
Now it’s time to get busy–you’ll have lots to do!
As far as wholesale flowers, I’ve looked at/heard good things about:
I am planning to visit a flower market in Chicago, our local grocery store (you should definitely check to see if you can make a special order there!…my aunt decided to ask one day and we’re getting VERY cheap flowers without having to buy in big bulk!), Trader Joe’s and the website I mentioned above.
The hive is here for you if you need any more help with the last minute planning! Have fun!

Invitations: check (just need to print them off!)
