My fiance and I would like to get married in the bay area next May, so we need to book a venue soon. I’ve been searching for affordable bay area venues for months and the locations we like the most are very expensive- and as you all know weddings are really expensive!! I would like an indoor ceremony and reception and would like an all inclusive venue if possible. Does anyone know of anywhere like this in the bay area??? thanks in advance bees!

Finding a venue that doesn’t break the bank has been so frustrating – to the point that we have basically realized we have to double what we wanted to spend to get anything we like. But … I’m not writing this to rant.
I’ve been looking for outdoor ceremony, indoor reception, so I don’t have a ton of suggestions for you, but I’m trying to think of the ones we looked at that had the option for indoor ceremony.
I’m pretty sure that most of the Wedgewood Banquet facilities (there’s multiple in the Bay Area) have an indoor ceremony option. They are as all-inclusive as I’ve seen.
Freedom Hall and Gardens in Santa Clara is also all-inclusive and has indoor ceremony option – though it would be in the same room as the reception. They say they make the flip over work well though. It’s in a cooperate area – not the nicest walking up, but the inside is really pretty and the gardens between the buildings are nice too!
Mountain Terrace in Woodside – I think you can do ceremony indoors here. I basically fell in love with the pictures of this place (specifically the outdoor ceremony site), so I contacted them. They responded with all of their pamphlets, but then never got back to me after two more attempts I made to set up a tour. Oh well, they’re a bit more than I wanted to pay. You can see lots about this venue in old posts on here – Mrs. Cola had here wedding here!
Good luck in your search!

Check with Michael’s at Shoreline in Mountainview, not sure your budget but it is full service and pretty affordable. There are a few Elk’s lodges in the bay area that offer event space and labor options (they cook weekly for members so they may have a menu to choose from)…
