Hi there-
I'm having a destination wedding and I found our officant by going to the city's chamber of commerce page. They had a listing of wedding vendors and under that were several listing for officiants and Justice of the Peace. You might try doing an online search too.

have you thought about having a close friend or family member officiate? you could call your county probate court and ask what the laws are (it differs from state to state). we're having my grandfather marry us. i know some states allow you to do it once in your lifetime without being licensed, but you can also be licensed through your church or online. it might be something to look into. then you wouldnt have to worry about paying the officiant.

Please help! We're having so much trouble finding an officiant and the wedding is little more than 3 months away! :(
Here's the trouble:
My FI and I are different religions and neither one of us belongs to a church. We'd like a non denominational or interfaith service but it has to be in Spanish, if the minister provides a translator that's fine too. The ceremony has to be in Aurora because the banquet hall is providing their chapel as part of our wedding package. I'd hate to pay for the chapel and not use it. And it can't be crazy expensive, I'm on a budget!
