hollygolightly86:  I love that ring! It is so unique and girly. I think a pink sapphire band would look great! How do you feel about mixed metals? I think rose gold would look fab.

hollygolightly86:  I think all us Americans are still in a turkey coma from yesterday’s Thanksgiving meal.  I don’t know if I have an answer, but just wanted to say how lovely your ring is!! Plus I think a light pink pave band would look really pretty with it! Also, honestly I can picture a very thin plan band, too, so the bow really shines! I’d try a few things on at a couple stores and see it in person.

hollygolightly86:  What a beautiful, beautiful ring! I love the delicate design of it and agree with PPs that it’s such a unique and feminine ring.

I think a pink sapphire band or a plain band would be beautiful with it. A different color of metal would also be beautiful, but that really depends on whether or not you like the look of two colors of metal next to each other. Some people love it, and others don’t.

I love your unique ERing. Lovely! I think a white gold ring with diamonds the same size as your ER would look good. I love pink sapphires, but I would be concerned they might take away from the overall look of your engagement ring.

I think it’d look beautiful, but only if the band of the e-ring and the wedding band are the same height (measuring from the inner to the outer circumference of the ring).

I would worry that if the height of the wedding band made it such that it would sit “taller” than the band of the e-ring, that would detract from the e-ring. And then if it were “shorter” than the band of the e-ring (while this wouldn’t be as bad), it would just kind of fall in its shadow.

Just how I see it though, other people may not think it matters.

I would also recommend trying to choose a ring in person (or at least try one that has virtually identical dimensions). I went to a jewelry show the other day and tried on a TON of different bands for fun — I found that it’s actually quite hard to find one that fits well with mine (not from a physical standpoint, that was easy, but from an aesthetic one). Everything from the size of the stones in the bands to the height of of the setting, to the types of prongs changes the overall look. There were so many I saw that I loved, but the minute I put it on next to my e-ring, I was like “EW NO TAKE IT OFF.” And there were many I thought were ugly, but when my mom had me try it, it actually looked pretty good.

hollygolightly86:  I think mixing metals will make sure that your ering stands out more. I love the pale pink sapphires. I feel like they are harder to find though.

hollygolightly86:  What is your budget? Diamonds by lauren makes pink diamond wedding bands for $2,500.

This one is $1400
