Im new to weddingbee and need your help. Im planning my wedding and the colors weve chosen are gray and yellow. Were getting married outdoors in a very rustic setting (theres a big red barn on location 🙂 ) The problem im having is that im looking into doing a very country chic wedding. Mason jar centerpieces, burlap, lace, the whole nine yards. But im thinking that the colors are more modern, thats ok, but then i dont know what kind of centerpieces to go with, i know i dont want a lot of flowers, just simply to cut cost. Please if you have any inspiration, send it my way 🙂

I think you’re fine with the country theme. I don’t consider gray and yellow to be “modern”.

I think you could go either way with those colors. Gray and yellow don’t automatically scream “modern” to me, I think you could definitely work them into your country chic theme 🙂

I think you can definitely use those colors with your theme. Have you thought about using sunflowers for your centerpieces? That would be really pretty, IMO.

We’re doing gray and yellow and our wedding is definitely not very modern. You just have to find what works for you. We’re doing a book theme so we’ve been scouring the libraries for hardcover gray, yellow and white books for our centerpieces. Good luck!
