Hello! I’m new to this forum so HI EVERYONE! I am torn between two totally different looks and need some help. I’m losing sleep over it. Mori Lee 1803 and Mori Lee 1862.
1803 is fluffly and princess like and 1862 is sleek and classic and full of lace. I think I’ve always pictured myself in 1803 but 1862 photographs better and I look more mature. I love them both. HOW DO YOU DECIDE????? and Why did I have to try on 2 looks?? Sigh….
Can I get some opinions please? Do I really choose a dress for how it photographs? and whether or not it will be in style in 20 years or do I go with the NOW??? Any help is appreciated!! I posted my pics below after I got some help 🙂

You click on the little tree in the toolbar above the text box. I think we can only give good opinions once there are pictures!

Here is the Mori Lee 1862:
Here is the Mori Lee 1803, don’t mind the sad face I was confused with which dress and my sis snapped a pic 🙂

The 1862 looks soo much better on you to me, but you follow your heart.

I faced a similar decision, between a form-fitting lace gown and the fuller, more A-line shape I had always dreamed of. I think it depends on the person, but for me, I went with my gut and chose the one I had always pictured myself in. I didn’t want to face regret down the line for NOT choosing the more traditional dress.

I like 1862, but they both look good. Go with the one you like wearing, not the one you think photographs better.

They are both beautiful! My personal preference is 1862, but like PP said, choose the one you love because I’m positive they will both photograph well and you look mature in both.

I personally love the fun and flitry aspect of 1803! And if that is the one you have always pictured yourself in go for it! You won’t regret looking less mature, but you probably will regret not going with your original vision.

I honestly think you couldn’t go wrong here. The first one is more elegant and the second is more fun. Which fits better with your idea of your wedding?

I like the 2nd one better but I think the first one (1862) looks better on you. You have such an awesome figure! If I were in that good of shape, I’d want to show it off!
But follow your heart. Whatever FEELS best to you is the one you should go with.

@TinaECU: Mori Lee 1862 looks stunning on you. But you have to go with your gut. I tried on a lot of different styles of gowns (and i posted about them too, I’m as confused as you are) so I completely feel your pain!
Go with what you feel most confortable in, what reflects your personality better, and what you think may work better on your wedding day!
Good luck! 🙂
PS. You should add a poll 🙂
