My wedding is in 3 hours and we just realized we forgot to burn the song for the father daughter dance on CD. Do any of you have any ideas of what we could dance to? Something slow... but not cheesy. I love my dad, but neither of us are into that. Thank you!!!!!
Daughter by Loudon Wainwright III, I can't do cheesy either, this song is cool and says how "I lost everytime I fought her" but he sings about how proud he is of his daughter. Congrats on your wedding! Good luck!
I agree with the Beatles selection. You could also use "I Loved Her First" by Heartland if you like country or there was an older one called "Butterfly Kisses" that is cute but sort of cheesy. Otherwise you could just use any beautiful classic slow song. Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton is used a lot I think.
I'm currently addicted to "Home" by Michael Buble - it's just a beautiful slow song. Again, if you like country the version by Blake Shelton is good too. Not sure about the lyrics being as significant.
For something more fun, maybe "Let's Stay together" by Al Green?

I'm dancing to My Girl by the Temptations with my dad. There is also Landslide by Fleetwood Mac that I have seen at weddings.....
Good luck! Don't stress, this is such a small detail!!!!!! :-)
