We are getting married outside at my parents house. I am only having a matron of honor walking down the aisle before me, so we don’t need that much music time. Usually there are two different songs used, for the bridesmaids, and then the bride. How on earth are we going to use two songs when we aren’t walking that far and there is only two of us! lol…
ALSO–is this song too ‘english royal wedding’ to use at a more casual outdoor ceremony? (Te Deum-Charpentier)
See that’s kind of the problem…my favorite part is the beginning of it, of course! I don’t know if it would be weird if she just came down right before without music? Kind of like the groomsmen and pastor?
AH! I’m only having one MOH as well with no BMs, and I didn’t even consider that to be an isue until now! I’ll probably just use one song now that I think of it, but silence would be fine – it’ll make it even more dramatic if the music kicks in once you step out! I would just try not to drag out her walk, you wouldn’t want a noticeable stretch of silence going on for too long. Good luck!
@FutureMrsDB: Ha! I wanted to do the silence thing, but mom said, “Ugh, no there has to be music for her” lol So I think we are going to have something like Pachelbel or something for her, and then have the music fade out, then start my music :-S
