I am devastated. We had our wedding booked at Aristide Event Center in Mansfield, and it fell through because the venue was having a lot of issues, so warning to any brides-to-be out there. Anyways, we need to find a venue in the DFW area, I’m looking for an outdoor ceremony at a place that I can have both ceremony and reception at the same location. The Aristide has a rustic, tuscan feel, and that’s what I absolutely love and am looking for.
We looked at the Piazza in Colleyville, they are completely booked up the whole month of Sept. (which is when we are getting married)
*Marie Gabrielle- gorgeous, but the minimum is $20,000, our budget is $8,000.
*Maple Manor-we are currently considering this place, but do not like the inside.
* Terrace Adriatica- looks ok, but have not gotten a response from the people that work there. Not looking good so far.
I know there are tons of golf courses and hotels, I just don’t like that. Any suggestions? I’ve searched over and over online with no luck. Just wondering if there is something I’m missing? Dallas needs some better wedding venues it seems!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You should try posting in the Dallas boards, you may get more hits there.
I liked 809 at Vickery in Ft Worth for an outdoor wedding http://www.atvickery.com/

and someone on the knot got married at La Buena Vida in Grapevine. It had the rustic feel you described.

I’m not sure which areas you’re looking in, but some friends of ours got married outside in at a winery in Grapevine and the setting was really pretty. I can’t remember which one they used, but I believe a lot of the wineries in that area do weddings!

We looked at La Buena vida, and it seemed awesome! The weekend we set the date for is grape fest weekend, and they are all booked up!
My fiance proposed to be at Delaney Vineyards in Grapevine. It is a beautiful place, but it’s $4000 just to rent the place, and NOTHING is included. Since my wedding is only 5 months away, I don’t have time to book catering, tables, decorations, flowers, individually, and they will be way over my budget to do all that. Any more suggestions?

@LK2511: I checked out the place in Ft. Worth you recommended. Very nice place! I sent an inquiry for a tour.

I really wanted to get married at Aristide. I was so bummed I found it after I had already booked my venue. I really liked it but from the sound of it I’m glad I didn’t. What happened if you don’t mind me asking? As for my advice is my wedding venue. Ruthe Jackson Center in Grand Prairie. Outdoor ceremony….indoor reception. Exactly what I wanted. And the price is reasonable. PM me if you have any questions. My wedding budget was 10k. So yours is totally do-able. I get married next month. I only had 6.5 months to plan. I booked my venue exactly 5 months from my date. And they had the exact date I wanted available.
