I would get them individual gift certificates to their favorite stores. Everyone is different. HOpe this helps : )
What about getting them a Visa gift certificate. Then they could shop wherever they want.
"Homegirl"? Hmm. Maybe H&M? Or else, i'd just ask her what her favorite clothing store is. You don't have to say you are asking for a potential gift. And definitely don't do Anthropologie for "homegirl" style...
yeah i would just work it into a casual conversation. something like "i'm sich of shopping at the same stores. do you have any suggestions? what's your favorite store to shop at...."
Ah...I like Meowkers' idea. The thing is I don't really talk to her much. The next time I"ll see her is at the bach. party, which is when I am giving them their gifts. If I ask her that question now suddenly after we haven't been in touch much she'll catch on.
So H&M. Any other ideas?
What about a department store like Macy's since they carry a lot of different styles, plus accessories and makeup.
Urban Outfitters is a pretty general pleaser. I think Anthro leans more towards the vintage-y types.
I think I'm going with Macy's for her. So I've got Sephora, two Macy's, JC Penny, and Gap. Great variety, I think. I'm thrilled.

I would buy them a gift at a place like Nordstrom or Macys with a gift receipt. This way they see the time you spent picking out a personal gift, but make sure they know they can return it as well. :)

I have 3 bridesmaids whom I think I am going to get clothing store gift certificates for as gifts.
One of them I'm not sure about. She's an Irish gal with sort of a "homegirl" style, lol. I don't know about GAP.
