This is my first post! How exciting is that? 🙂
I am wearing Sottero and Midgley Katharine in soft blush:
I am wondering if anybody has photos of this dress from
Their wedding day or another dress in a similar color as I would like to see what veil goes with it. I’ve heard various rules regarding how to match a veil to a dress but since this one is blush, I am
Worried that I will have a hard time finding the right veil.

I’d do a warm ivory, is there any way you can try some on before you buy?
Yeah i could try some on but I was going to buy one online as they are significantly cheaper. I did try some on when I was trying on my dress to get an idea of the whole
Outfit but I wasn’t paying much attention to the color of the veil. I also bought my dress
In the states and now live in the UK so not comfortable with going into a shop and asking them to
Try on veils with my dress when i didn’t buy my dress from
There. I guess If I buy online I can make sure they allow exchanges or returns before I commit but if I have some suggestions or ideas on color, I can try and get it right the first time. Thanks!!

i agree, a warm ivory would look nice 🙂 and a lace edging detail would look fantastic 🙂

I know I saw blush birdcage veils on etsy. But if want a tulle veil I guess I would vote ivory.

Ok thanks ladies!! I will take a look at ivory veils.
And thanks for the suggestion for the blush birdcage veil as I am wanting to switch to a birdcage at the reception. Do you remember who the seller was or do you have a link?

@BigFatGreekWedding: no i dont remember exactly but if you plug in “blush birdcage veil” or just “blush veil” im sure it will pop right up.

Yay, another blush dress bride!! I love the idea of an ivory tulle veil for the ceremony and then switching to a blush birdcage for the reception. Here are some inspiration pics for you.

And here are a few Etsy shops I favorited because they offer blush veils (not sure about birdcages though, I was looking for blush tulle):

@LittleRiver: I never got a chance to thank you earlier for all the photos and “inspiration”! THANKS!! I think I am going to definitely go for an ivory veil but just narrowing the styles I like down.
