A wonderful couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary…what would be a good gift, under $100 (preferably under $50, sorry budget is tight these days!) I have no clue what do get them. Any ideas are greatly appreciated! 🙂

A nice bottle of wine
Tickets to something they would enjoy
Pay for a photographer to take their portrait
Do you have contact information for their friends and relatives? You could ask each one to send you a letter sharing a memory with the couple . Have them write on one side of the paper only, and you can assemble them inot a scrapbook.
Order a copy of the newspaper dated on their wedding date from the town they lived in when they got married.

@chocolatejazz: a gift card to dinner and a movie? date night?

@chocolatejazz: I would do some kind of date night. Gift certificate to a dinner place they enjoy maybe. Or if there’s someplace good that delievers you could do a certificate for that, a bottle of wine & some candles. Make it a fun “night in” kind of basket.

Anything custom/personalized – look through Etsy, you could do literally ANYTHING. Champagne glasses, a nice frame, robes, a print of something, etc.
Anything gold in any way would do, since it’s the gold anniversary. Even fake gold, or gold thread…or edible gold? Really.
