Hello Bees. I am (or could be) in trouble and need all the help from my fellow bees. You see, I’m not usually impulsive but when it comes to the wedding I’m a bit of a maniac (giggle).
I have gone back and forth on the centerpieces for the past year and since the wedding is not until October I still have wiggle room to change my mind. I usually file a mental image in the back of my head for future reference when I fall in love with an idea; I’ve fallen in love with a lot of ideas.
I was browsing through a hobby shop when I found glass on sale. This included flower vases. This means bubble bowls. This is one of my loves. I bought one for each table. Oh. No. !. Future hubby still does not know I did not ask his opinion before settling.
The reason I even went by the glass aisle was to check out the price of the bubble bowls. In the back of my head there was this:
Did I say “love” yet? It’s so simple, so easy to diy and yet a tad modern.
Here is my dilema. What is that stringy stuff? That is reason of my appeal and I don’t know what it is. Do you recognize it? Can you think of something that would be a good replacement?
Thanks for the help, Bees!

Hmmm…It almost looks like very fine Easter grass or that tinsel stuff. Maybe look in the gift wrapping section of a store??

The centerpiece is featured on Impulse Entertainment’s website. I would send them an email and ask.
or, you could use the sticky at the top of the dress board that tells you how to find more information about a pic and find:
here is the wedding,
http://www.rebelbelleweddings.com was the wedding planner
and the flowers were done by http://www.flourla.com/
here’s a better pic of the centerpiece on their website
In the end, I would email the florist.

@julies1949: WOW! Is your last name Holmes or is there an image of an eye on your office door?
That was amazingly fast. How did you do it?
I am amazed. I just emailed the florist and hope they are willing to share.
Cross your fingers for me!

it could be very fine wire, like what people use to make those custom hangers out of, but a smaller gauge…. they come in all different colors also so you can customize further.

I wondered if it was the same thing MaraH29 showed… I grew up calling that gracey stuff… gracey string or something 🙂
But my first thought was tinsel
