@future_mrs_s:

HOnestly, Id go with what size you are now. March is just a few months away and if you drop a size or so, its easily alterable, but if for some reason you dont, your dress will fit. THats my advice. 🙂

@future_mrs_s:  It is easier to alter down then it is to let out. Go with the size you are when you try the dress on.

@future_mrs_s:  Keep in mind that I am saying what I’m saying as someone that has worked in a bridal salon and has fitted tons of girls for dresses.

When you say that you squeezed into the dress, do you mean that you squeezed into a sample of the dress? You need to keep in mind that often those sample dresses have been tried on by tons of people, many that are not the appropriate size which over time does stretch the dress out. If this is the case, that dress could easily actually be a size 6 by now if not larger. That’s why consultants go by size charts not the fit of the dress.

@future_mrs_s:  I am surprised that someone that works there wouldn’t consider your measurements over the size of the sample. Perhaps the dress is a newer sample and is still pretty true to size. There is also a chance that the smaller the size of the dress that fewer people have tried it on. Also, often those dresses can be taken out about an inch or so. It may not hurt to get in touch with them and ask their opinion on how stretched their samples are versus your measurements if it’s not too late to change it.

@SaraLynne024:  +1 – imagine how scary it would be if you didn’t fit in it! I had to make this choice too and decided on the larger size

@secretbee33:  exactly. Id rather pay a few bux to get it altered down to me than going crazy and starving myself to fit into a dress that was too tight, too much stress .

future_mrs_s:  I’ve ordered off the size chart for bm dresses and always had the dresses taken in at least 2 sizes!

future_mrs_s:  Order what fits you now. Easier to take a dress in then to let it out.
