I’m wearing something similar (Allure 8764) and probably won’t be wearing a necklace.  The high Queen-Anne-style collar combined with the lace and neckline really lends itself well to having no necklace.

If you really feel like you need to wear a necklace, maybe something classic like a strand of pearls.  Alternatively a lariat/y-shape necklace would work.

@Jaquelyn16:  you could still wear one, i wouldnt recommend something too big tho.  I think a tear drop necklace like this would be pretty, with matching earrings of course to go with!

@soontobeford:  I will be wearing the Allure C155 and am planning on earrings and a bracelet. I am still searching for the right one. I think something moderately wide will be nice, big enough to notice but not so big as to be overwhelming/distracting.

Have you tried a three strand choaker made of small 6mm pearls with perhaps a rhinestone statement piece in the center could be lovely, if you do not have a short neck. You might look for something vintage from your grandmother make it memorable like a single strand of graduated real pearls…..”something old”

Im going with fat fresh water pearls (not round, mis shapen) and spaced with swarovski crystals. If you look on my threads started you will see it.

I found it hard finding a necklace for it – I made several and all looked weird, apart from the misshapen pearls. I had blue round pearls with crystal spacers = NOPE, I had little vintagey ivory/pale rose small (like 6mm) freshwater tear pearls which I hand-knotted = nope and a plain crystal necklace made only from 4mm swarovski crystals. It originally had a large inch tear trop pendant on it but I didnt like the way that looked, so took it off to see if the plain chain worked = nope and nope.

So yea, I made a good few exampes and none worked. The pearls I tried with it were from an old interview necklace I made (and have wrn to death) so I restrung it and added swarovski crystals as spacers insead of czech glass. I felt the misshapen pearls went with the vintage look of the dress and the swaros added to the sparkle.

My lucky mother scored for all the rejected necklaces!

I do think a lariet would work, too as well as nothing. I’m not wearing a bracelet, I don’t think.

I wore a Tiffany double loving heart necklace. It has thin chain and simple pendant so doesn’t make my neck area look too clustered since the mandarin colar and the lace already make things look busy there.

I would prefer no necklace/simple one and add a bling bracelet instead to match the swarovski beadings at the empire waist.

I’m wearing something very simple like shown above. It’s just a teardrop pendant.
