I’d say about 8 weeks before the actual date.

I would say the first week in June.

We’re doing 9 weeks, specifically because of the B list. We also have a hard cap at 200 at our venue.

Technically, it’s supposed to be 6-8 weeks, only.

I sent out invites 3 months prior to all the out of towners and sent out invites to locals 2 months prior.

@emersynsmommy35: I’d just send them 10-12 weeks out for your own peace of mind. No ones going to call you and be like “why is my invitation here EARLY?” Some people might forget to RSVP but you’re going to end up calling people at the end no matter what.

I would go with the three month mark.

If you have people coming long distances, even perhaps from out of the country; I would suggest May 1st for those guests and then May 15th for the local guests.

Go with the 3 month mark. People don’t return their cards on time and you have to chase for responses. You definitely need the extra time to get the invitations to the B list and not have them feel like last minute additions.
