@Rdickson90:  I suspect it’s hand done, with a paint pen or chalkboard pen or something similar. I’ve done things like this on glass before, but never on a mirror (are you talking about the heart? Or all of the writing?) The writing can be done by hand with a writing pen like that. It would take a bit, and you’d have to have nice writing. I know with a pane of glass you could trace it, but im not sure how you’d do it with a mirror

If you’re talking about the decorations, If you’re feeling really crafty, you can just go and buy some sticky back vinyl from a craft store like Hobby Lobby or Michaels, print the design you want on it on the backside of the sticky back and go at it with an exacto knife. I’ve made vinyl wall decorations like that before.

@Rdickson90:  The source of the pic was a calligraphy site, so I’m guessing it was professionally done.

One way to do it yourself, other than handwriting it, is to draft it iin the font you like on your computer, then print it on a transparency.

Prop the mirror flat against a wall and use a projector to display the transparency on the mirror, then trace with a paint pen. You can use an overhead projector if you have access to one

or even a kids projector.

Any mistakes can be left to dry, then scraped off with a blade, and redone.

@Rdickson90:  I saw a DIY blog about this a few days ago… can’t remember where. Don’t know the specifics but it said something like, print out the words on a peice of paper, place the paper on the mirror and write on the paper with a special pen. It turned out exactly like that photo.

I did my menu like this with vinyl on a mirror. I don’t have my pictures back yet or I would show you. I got it printed and put on for about $30 at a local print shop. Just search for a sign shop and they will do it. It is so much easier to have someone put it on for you because they will get it on straight without any air bubbles under the vinyl. Ill post a pic when I get it soon. Hope this helps 🙂

@Rdickson90:  Did you see this post http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/my-vintagerusticchic-wedding-pro-pics/page/2#axzz2kwWORkYc

She said: I found the “barnwood” picture frame at Hobby Lobby and just removed the backing. I taped the paper with the design on it to the back of the glass and traced it with a paint pen. Pretty easy to trace through glass since you can see so well!

Sounds SO easy.

Rdickson90:  if you have a silhouette or cricut machine, you can “print” out all of the wording in white vinyl and stick it to the mirror (just to let you know, with that many letters and that small a size, it would be a real bitch to do)
