How much should 100 invitations cost. Has anyone ordered any invitations that are nice and not too expensive. I had a friend order 100 for $300. Does anyone know of any stores or even online? Thanks.
If you google 'wedding invitations', you'll get several hundreds (if not thousands) of companies that make them. Just here on weddingbee, there are 4-5 ads for wedding invitations. Depending on what kind of invitations you get, they can cost anywhere from a few cents to several dollars each.
I ordered mine from www.invitationsbydawn.com -- and I love them! They going price depended on what you ordered with them, but you can get 100 invites for under $200 -- if you want all the bells and whistles. Much less if you don't get it all . Here is a link to my invitations. They worked out to $104 for 100 invitations. Also, you don't send an ivitation to everyone you invite -- married couples and familes only get one invite.
Everything is pre-cut and all you have to do is take the carstock to kinkos to be printed with what you want it to say. They are pretty amazing. I haven't looked at their recent line of invites... but they are pretty modern and different.
If you would like stylish invites on a budget, I highly recommend Wedding Paper Divas. Most of their (non- letterpress) invites are $1.99 a piece and under! The shipping is also free!

my favorite thing about kinkos? my proof will be ready in less than a week :e)
I've also heard good things about invitations by dawn but I wanted to see the paper and ink up close.
Good luck!
