We have decided to string paper lanterns above our outdoor dance floor that overlooks the ocean. I have been researching and was just wondering. Where did you order yours? What place has good quality/price? I attached an inspiration pic and a pic of our outdoor space.

Before you purchase new ones, you should check out the WB classifieds, Craigslist, and Ebay!

Definitely check out opportunities to buy new ones!  But if that fails I think this site has good deals: save-on-crafts.com

I bought all mine from here:

    http://www.paperlanternstore.com/

I searched for a coupon code at the time and I think there was one for a discount as well! I had a good experience with them and their selection is really big!

Typically, asianideas.com and paperlanternstore.com will have the least expensive ones.  Which one is less expensive varies depending on the size and color you are looking for.

I actually have some white ones--which I turned pink or amber by using different colors of light inside them--for sale if you are interested.  Here is a link to my for sale page.

You also need to consider how you are going to light them.  My site has a bunch of information on different alternatives for lighting.  Here is a picture of some of mine.

I just bought a whole bunch from Just Artifacts.  They had the best prices I could find.  Shipping was very fast (1 week to Canada).  I haven't seen a lot of paper lanterns in real life, but I think they are decent quality.

Check out www.jadetime.com.  I bought my lanterns from them.  They are much cheaper than most other stores I found online.  I'm using lanterns ranging from 8 inches to 30 inches in white and red.
