A Michael's craft store just opened up on the upper west side in Manhattan. Currently, the floral department is loaded with xmas florals, but I definitely saw ribbons and foam balls and other wedding DIY supplies there. It's worth checking out.
Columbus Avenue between 97th and 100th street (it's a long block)
There are also tons of fabric and trimmings stores around the 32nd to 42nd street areas in midtown, near Fashion Avenue (7th Ave), the Garment District.

Thanks to some great posts here, I found instructions that seem helpful in creating pomanders for my wedding.
I'd like to work on this project during the winter, so that I'm not stressed doing it last minute in the spring. Where in the NYC area can I purchase nice but inexpensive silk flowers and I guess foam balls? Do I need anything else?
Trying to make about 10-12 and I'd like to keep my budget well under $50, if possible. If you ordered materials online, would appreciate that info as well.
Thanks in advance. :)
