I vote for the blakc lam shade one althoguht they are both nice. What abotu mixing it up and doing half and half so all the tables are not the same? Jsut a thought :)
I like the red one since you have mostly white with black on the tables, I think black would be too much.
I like the red shade too. I think the black shade and the black in the tablecloth is a lot of black. The red shade brightens it up.
Wow, it's so nice to get some feedback. My FH gives me the blank stare when I ask for an opinion.
i like the black shade better myself, however I like @Miss Sweet Tea's ideas of mixing it up a bit.
I like the red shade with white orchid and red center. I think it helps add some red and looks really pretty. Those are awesome by the way!
Okay, I did one more mock up using a mix of black and white flowers with the black shade. Do you like this better?
Love your damask runners! My vote is for the red shade! I love the pop of colour for your theme!
i dont like the black shade for a wedding...but this are very cool! great job
My new delima. At the head table I will be using the bouquets as decor. They will be red roses. There will be 7 bouquets of red roses. One at the center and 3 lining each side of the bride/groom down the table. There will be one of each lampshade centerpiece on each side of the bride groom as well. Will the red lamp shade look just wrong with a bunch of red roses? They are the same color red, but I almost think the black may look better with the red roses.
I LOVE the black lampshade. I think it's a little more dramatic. If you're torn, you could also alternate them.. alternate lampshades and then switch up the flowers, too - black with red, black with white, red with red, red with white. And I think the black would look better on the head table, too.

I am making my own centerpieces and am torn between which one, if any of these to use. I'm not sure which color of lamp shade and which flower or if I've even found the right flower. I just have fabric wrapped around the lamp shades right now, they will be more finished looking once I decide on a color. Here are my delimas: I'm not sure if the black shade will create a look that is too dark, I don't know if I like the all white orchid or the orchid with some red in it. My colors are black, white and red. So I want to make sure there is enough red accent, which is why I am not using a white orchid with the black shade. The tablecloths will be white with the black and white damask runners shown and I will have black napkins, white chair covers with black sashes. Any advice would help.
