I’m currently having my 0.66 TCW cluster ring remade. The cast is ready, and I’m pleased, so it’s now a case of selecting the diamonds. I have a choice between excellent cut F-G VSs, or excellent cut D-E VVSs. Cost isn’t an issue (the difference in cost is negligible) so really, I want whatever will look best. I’m leaning towards the D-E VVSs, but not sure if this is pointless given the size; however, because there are so many diamonds in the ring, I’m thinking maybe there will be a noticeable difference? What would you pick?
Here’s a photo of my current ring for reference:

Get the better ones. Duh 😉

@barbie86: if there is not much color difference between the stones and your original stones, I would go with the better one!

@Weetzie: LOL, it probably does sound like a dumb question lol in hindsight; just don’t want to seem silly, or like I think my ring is bigger than it is lol
@Scar_cats_tic: This is my feeling; I want the difference to be noticeable to me, and I kind of think that going higher in the specs will make more of a difference.
Thanks all; will email them now with my decision!

That is a gorgeous ring!! I voted for the better color, better clarity. My mum’s engagement ring was a cluster, and the clarity really does make a difference.

@barbie86: if price is not a factor, definitely the diamonds with better colour and better clarity.
