Hello fellow Bees!
After reading so many of your posts on being unable to decide on a dress I am bringing my dillema to you for help!! It seems my story is not as uncommon as I thought…. After trying on A LOT (like 100+) dresses and waiting for my teary-eyed-ohmygodthisismydress moment I felt nothing! For a long time the Essence of Australia D1406 was the frontrunner (it is white in the pic, i’d do a different belt, it does not fit my bust, and i’d probably have them build up the top into a more subtle sweetheart). I look at it in pictures and I love it.
Then, it happened! The omg this is MY DRESS moment with the Marisa 815. We all cried and I immediately said yes to the dress and put a deposit down. I love it in person. THEN, I looked at the pictures and I am not sure. I wish it had a better skirt and I think it is too romantic/flowy (dare i say boring) for my style, whereas the first one is more fun/modern. On the Marisa, I would modify the fit to be more trumpet shaped and would add a mermaid petticoat for more poof at the bottom, but even with all that I’m not sure it will give me the trumpet/fitted shape i am looking for because the fabric is so flowy.
I am obsessing to the point that i am sure my family/friends are sick of hearing me talk about it. SO PLEASE HELP!!!

@BeeAli: you need to edit your poll, you accidentally put the first choice as the title instead of an option.

@TwoStatesBride: whoops! thanks…rookie mistake 🙂

@BeeAli: no problem, just didnt want it to skew your results! 😉

I love the first one. However, maybe if you altered the shape and neckline of the second and changed the sash it would look much better.

@BeeAli: That first one is SO flattering! The second one doesn’t do much for you.

Pick the one you cried over. It sounds like you’re stressing about making the decision, but the tears don’t lie.

I like the first one better

The 1st one is gorgeous! The 2nd one doesn’t do much for you. Good luck. I know how you feel!! I fell in love with a poufy dress that everyone said made me look big. But I felt like a bride in it. I loved the ridiculous amount of fabric that made up the skirt of the dress…you just have to go with your gut.

I’m partial because I wore the Marisa 815. It’s a beautiful dress and it just looks as though it needs to be altered to fit our wonderful figure. It’s definitely NOT a boring dress, especially in real life – the way the skirt “floats” when you walk, the rough edging, etc.

Definitely go with the one you cried over!

Go with the one you cried over!! The second dress doesn’t look as good on you because IT HASN’T BEEN ALTERED YET. Once it fits your body it will look great. The first one would need less alterations but that doesn’t mean it’s the one for you.
