My wedding is 9 months away (today!) and I’m having trouble narrowing down my dress choices! I love love love these 5 dresses (have only tried 3 on though) but constantly change my mind, like, every day!
The two I keep coming back to are Italico and Malta but the Icaro is gorgeous and would work better with venue/type of day/accessories. I’ve tried on the Milan and Medas. Milan looks a lot better in real life and the Medas is spectacular and I probably would have brought it there and then but there is a seam that runs around the waist which looks like a crease on pictures! No idea why they’ve done that!
Italico and Icaro are 2011 and I have to wait until October to try them on. I know I should just sit tight and wait but feel that once I have the dress sorted the rest of the wedding will fall into place.
My bridesmaid dresses are Dessy 2780 (also pictured).
So, feel free to vote and chip in!!

I voted for the Icaro – I adore it because of it’s retro look, I LOVE the train, and it leaves soooo many accessory options for bracelets, earrings, veil, etc. If I could snap my fingers and have any one of these, it would be the Icaro. A classic stunner.

It’s hard not seeing them on you, but I love the second one.

@nmsoonerbride: It’s a big bug bear that I haven’t got any pics as it would help me too! Every shop I’ve been too has been really funny about taking pictures.

I like Icaro and then Milan. I’m voting for Icaro. But would love to see you in these!

I really like 4, 2, and then 1…they’re all gorgeous, though!!

Whoa…you have a lot of options that you’re looking at. They are all beautiful too, no wonder you’re having a hard time!
I voted for Icaro and this was my logic:
-Since you don’t like the seam on the Medas, knocked that out
-Personally, I’m not a fan of the cap sleeves on #1, knocked that out
-I like the trains on #2 and #3, so kocked out the last dress
-Looking at the details and the many options you could choose to accessorize with, Icaro is my favorite!
Go with what you are most comfortable in! Although the details of dresses are important, it’s how the bride wears it that makes all the difference.

I have to go with Icaro too. Seems like it’d be so flattering and gorgeous!

I like the Milan and the Malta the most, but I voted for Milan

@PinkPinstripes: I think that’s my logic too!
I want to wear a blush ‘birdcage’ veil which I think would work on any of them but work best with Icaro.

i looooooove the italco….. it’s just so classic and elegant…… chic, simple….. love it love it love it……. keep in mind though that the photos and the real thing rarely look exactly the same (that lovely crispness in the photos won’t be there in the dress i’m sure…..)…..

It really is hard to make a decision without seeing you in them :(, but the third and last one I really like :).

wow! these are all beautiful. please post pics of you in your dress once you decide 🙂

@ms. anne thrope: I LOVE the Italico too but I’m thinking the exact same thing as you. The way they have the model standing makes it look stunning but I’m never going to be standing like that on my w-day!
I will definitely get pics when I go in October – even if I have to sneakily distract the assistant to get them!

Pronovias have helpfully added to there 2011 collection! Luckily I found nothing ‘wow’ enough to distract me! I’ve narrowed it down to Icaro or Italico.
