nicoleylo:  I think the second dress will flatter the other bridesmaid dresses better than the 1st. The first one I think will make her stand out too much, and it doesn’t fit in as well as the other.

nicoleylo:  I think the second dress will look the best because of the flow of the skirt. The upper bodice’s design is different from anyone else’s, so that can be the unique factor. Also, this dress does look more confortable than the first and less dated. Lace dresses are nice, but the fabric can get really itchy up near the neck(nothing against them- I want a lace wedding gown!)

I agree that the Jim Hjelm is more flattering and the chiffon skirt flows well with the bridesmaids’ dresses. I do notice that you chose 3 different necklines for the other girls, so if you didn’t want to have 2 strapless, the first might be a good choice. They both look nice, the second one just looks amazing on her!

Does your sister have a preference? Personally, I can’t stand strapless dresses (they never stay on me and I hate having to pull them up all night) so I would go for the first dress in a heartbeat. If you’re struggling to pick, maybe let your sister decide?

I’d say the first one. The BM dresses are more simple, so the lace will make the MOH stand out enough to tell she’s the MOH, but not enough to draw attention away from you.

Do you want her to stand out? If so, I’d go with the first one. The BMs dresses are already all different, and I feel like the second dress would just look like another different BM dress.

Both dresses are great, but I think the second one “flows” with the look a lot better.  The sheath with interest at the neckline, heavy lace AND low back just doesn’t “feel” the same to me.  If your dress is heavy and more ornate, the first dress could be a good middle-ground but definitely leaning toward the second.

ETA: you can always add more elaborate jewelry and hair if you would really like her to stand out more than just the Jim Hjelm dress looking like a nicer “take” on the Dessy ones.

No 1 is different enought to make her stand out from the others but still entirely complimentary to everyone else.  With no. 2 she will blend in. Does your sister have a preference?

I like both, but in my mind I would want it to be apparent that she’s the MOH in the pics. I think because you have the different styled bridesmaid dresses dress #2 seems to be another addition to that concept. It doesn’t scream special. I’d choose based on which one compliments your dress. If dress #1 does compliment your dress, then I’d say go with it.

I like the first! But of course only if you want her to stand out from your other BMs, and providing your own dress isn’t lace, they are both lovely though.

nicoleylo:  Wow! You look beautiful, seeing your dress I’m swayed towards the second one now, I think because of the flowiness in the skirt the second dress would compliment your dress better?
