@Splodge2003:  We have very similar style!  I have to vote for the 4 prong, but both are beautiful.  My original e-ring is 6-prong and channel set in YG, and my anniversary ring (MCo eng689) is 4-prong with a shared prong band.

@Splodge2003:  I forgot to comment on your band.  I think that w-band is about double the thickness that it should be to compliment those e-rings.  What MCo rings are those?  Are you set on that w-band?  It’s just so thick.  But both the e-rings are beautiful!

I think the channel set looks so great on you! that band is really unique and pretty but i feel like it is too thick to really compliment your ering

They both look pretty so I couldn’t decide which to vote for!

@Splodge2003:  From that side view I am TOTALLY in love with the channel set!  What about wearing your mom’s band on your right hand, and your e-ring on your left?  There are definitely some Bees that do that.

I love your yellow gold and channel set prettiness! I also like the plain band too, can’t go wrong with either.

I voted for the plain band, imo too much going on with the channel set with the wedding band.

@Splodge2003:  I’m not sure about the e-ring, but I absolutely love your wedding band.

ETA: after going back and forth, I voted for the 6 prong. I think it complements the band better. If you really love the 4-prong, it doesn’t look bad, either. I don’t think you can go wrong either way.

I’ve had both 4 and 6 prong settings and personally prefer the look of the 4 prongs.  I too like the channel set band because I prefer side stones over a solitaire.
