Yay for DMB songs!
We are dancing our first dance to a DMB song...not sure I want to spill which one!
We are having dinner music be old school...Frank Sinatra, etc. So DMB won't be in our dinner playlist. Also, not sure how much of their music is good for dancing...I will play You & Me for a dance song... any other good ones to use during reception?
What about I"ll back you up? So romantic!
we are playing Crush at the end of the ceremony as one last dance, sing a long, sway with your arms around each other, feel good moment.
not really worried about being able to dance to the songs... pretty small reception with not alot of dancing.. im more worried about the lyrics (receptions in gym of church) i know dave doesnt swear alot on his cds but some of his lyrics (crash) could be taken the wrong way lol
so far we have you and me being played during wedding... 1st dance is steady as we go and then also "oh" and 1 sweet world being played

I love love love Satellite. I wish my FH didn't hate DMB so that we could play it! The lyrics are so sweet! I know its not a conventional love song, but it could work.
My favorite DMB song of all time is Two Step...its way too fast for a first dance, but it could be played at some point during your reception. Again, the lyrics blow me away:

Haha! I always forget about South Carolina...I can get behind the Gamecocks! (As a UCLA girl, when I hear USC, the first thing that comes into my mind is Southern Cal)
Crash is a great song. Almost anything by DMB is great! All of the songs are so sincere, genuine and... meaningful. I just love Dave Matthews Band!
I LOVE "Oh" - so sweet. I listened to that song HEAPS when I was overseas for 5 weeks with my fella on the other side of the world... Love it.
OH!!!! SO loves, loves, loves music..even more than me! and DMB is an all time favorite! i want to surprise him with some knowledge with the playlist..and you guys totally just gave me brownie points!
btw, he a gamecock fan as well,(even got a tat of gamecock on shoulder) so i am getting ready for game nites!!!!

And Two Step and You and Me are AWESOME songs. I also like #41 it sounds romantic but when you read and understand the lyrics...not so much.

ok so the day is in less than 3 weeks.. i am in need of a first dance song (right now leaning towards steady as we go) and also songs to play during the reception we are having someone sing you and me during the actual wedding so i probably wouldnt wanna play that song again.. help guys!
