Your room and your furniture are all neutral colors. You can use any accent color you like.

We have milk chocolate colored furniture and use burgundy pillows, throws etc in the winter, and turquoise and bright green in the summer.

Brown and grey is an elegant combination:

with hits of blue as an accent color.

@fallbride10111:  I think the chair looks great with the sofa.

Do you have any other seating in the room?

What about other pieces of furniture?

@fallbride10111:  Your home looks so nice! Is it brand new?

I thnk you are on the right track. A console table behind the sofa will give you somewhere to place lamps. A wood tray on the ottoman and it will function as a great coffee table.

Great furniture pieces. HGTV design shows use one piece such as a piece of art, rug, pillow, throw as color inspiration. You then pull all of your accent colors from this piece. I would go to Home Goods and find an object with colors you love and then build from those colors with your accent pieces. I have decorated a whole living area around one large framed print.

I love that fireplace/mantle area… I’m a huge fan of neutral/naturals with teal or light blue, and I think a light blue would really pick up the neutral grey/blue in the slate of the fireplace!

I love the idea of an earthy orange or red. It could really warm up the space.

As PP have said, if you find a pillow, blanket or even fabric scrap with colors you like you can use that as inspiration. The colors you have are nice and nuetral so you really have lots of options.

I think it would look great with some turquoise or peacock blue accents.
