I’d like a little input for my accessories for my wedding. Just as a note, I’m not really into having it be costume-y, but I did fall madly in love with my dress, and it happens to be a bit vintage-feeling 🙂
So, for accessories, I’m thinking these Hey Lady shoes would be STUNNING (plus I just love love love them, and WILL wear them again after my wedding).
I’m not wearing a veil (just not my style), but maybe a few flowers in my hair. Any suggestions for hair styles would be FANTASTIC.
No necklace (neckline is way too high for that), but I was thinking these earrings from Kate Spade, plus a single strand ivory pearl bracelet (my “something borrowed” from my FMIL).
Let me know what you think! Too much? Too little? Too costume-y?
I’m a firm believer in Coco Chanel’s “take one accessory off before you leave the house” rule, buttttttt this is my wedding day

I’m not just saying this, but I honestly think all of your accessories will look so perfect with your dress.
How long is your hair?

sooo gorgeous, love love the dress and shoes. It does not look customey at all. It is classy, but still with lovely designs and details. Where did you get those shoes? I want them! 🙂

LOVE love LOVE those shoes. I’ve been a little obsessed with them since I saw them on BHLDN too and I think they’ll look perfect with your dress. You’re going to look classy and elegant on your wedding day- definitely not overdone. I think I’d stick with the vintage feel for your hair and, since your dress has a higher neckline, an updo would be beautiful. Maybe something like one of these:

You guys are so sweet, thank you for boosting my confidence!!!
My hair is not that long right now, and my wedding is in 9 months….i’m guessing it will be an inch or 2 past my shoulders by that time. I think you’re right, ladybugs, an updo would be great. My only hesitation is that my hair is SUPER thin, fine, and straight. To get it to stay in ANYTHING, even a curl, is a struggle. We’ll see what the professional says about it, haha.
I also saw these, but wasn’t sure about it being too much….but I do love the hair style!

Also, in case anyone wants to know, haha, I’m considering this as a “get-away” and after-party (at a local bar) outfit. We’ll be “getting away” around 11:30, under a canopy of sparklers
With this shirt:
I already own the shirt, and I *wanttttt* that skirt for New Years in NYC this year. I was planning on slipping into my super comfy black leather pumps at that point. So score one for not having to buy anything new!
