I've had acne since forever, not too bad but annoying. I started the oil cleansing method using a light oil like grapeseed oil and using aloe gel for a moisturizer. I've never had better skin! I think the less ingredients the better.
Oil cleansing method can be found online but basically I apply the oil before my shower, let a wash cloth get hot with the water once I'm in, and steam my face a few times and wipe off the oil with the cloth. When I get out I usually use a mixture of a little green tea with some organic apple cider vinegar for a toner and aloe for a moisturizer.

I have acne prone, sensitive skn. Personally, I think natural health products will not get the job done when it comes to moderate acne/blackheads. The only thing that works for me is Rx meds. But, it's sure to worth a try if you find something.
Besides treating acne you already have, you need to look at your face creams, lotions, makeup, anything you put on your face and start finding the culprits that are causing you clogged pores and acne. Find an ingredient list of highly comedogenic ingredients and compare it to your beauty products. Try to eliminate or purchase new ones which designed for acne prone skin. Also, I cannot stress enough how important properly cleaning your face is. Invest in a good face wash, I love Philosophy Purity.
@agusia: that's the thing, I don't put anything on my face. I don't wear makeup at all, and I don't put anything on my face that isn't non comedogenic. i'm really careful about because I have such weird skin. It could also be because of stress, and I've been sick so haven't been taking real good care of my skin
drink gallons of water.
have clean pillow cases. i sleep on my back but sometimes i flip over in my sleep and then my face is on the pillowcase which has absorbed my natural hair oils. i change them as often as i can remember.
i keep makeup wipes by the bed and by the door. this way i can take off makeup coming in...... or if i forget, lay in bed and wipe it all off. i use the burt bee's (yellow package / rite aid) and neutrogena (purple / CVS).
i have a face wash, the clearsil acne + mask one.
I am all about the burts bees acne line... I use the toner and spot treatment daily and it works awesome for me.

Luckily, I am only now having issues with acne. I went off bc pills about 6 months ago, and my face has gone crazy lately! I have zits, blackheads (really bad) as well as combination sensitive skin.
I would prefer something natural over chemicals if possible. Right now I am using the Tea Tree foaming face wash from The Body Shop, but not every day
Help!
