Help with Alfred Angelo BM dress sizing!

Hey bees,

I haven't been on here in a while because my wedding was last summer (yay!) but now I'm back as a bridesmaid. The bride is ordering my dress for me based on my measurements because there isn't a store that sells Alfred Angelo near me, but I'm really confused on what size I should get.

My measurements are:

Bust - 34 (which corresponds to a size 4)

Waist - 29 (which corresponds to a size 8)

Hips - 37 (which corresponds to a size 2)

I'm really stuck...she placed the order for a size 6 because it was kind of in the middle, and she thought I'm about the same size as one of her other bridesmaids, who tried on an 8 in the store and found it way too big. I'm just a little nervous that it will be too small in the waist - my street size is a 2 or 4, but I know that bridesmaid dresses usually run smaller.

Should I have her change it up to an 8, or stay with the 6?

I'd go up one size of what you wear in street clothes.. They can't always go by the measurements for a good fit.. My aunt bought a bridesmaid dress years ago that was Alfred Angelo, they based the size off of her measurements & the dress litterally would go on & off without even unzipping it.

The measurements are so frustrating - my body doesn't match up with the measurements for ANY of the sizes!

I'm worried that my waist will be too big for the 6...but at the same time, I have a pretty small bust and hips, so the dress might be huge if I go with the 8. I'm totally not curvy at all which makes these things difficult.
