Help! Does anyone have a recommendation of a hair salon in NYC that will do inexpensive blow outs and up dos? Especially one with a make up connection? The people doing my hair and make up are kind of pricey and I don't want to have my girls spend so much money on getting ready, but with 6 bridesmaids, I can't really afford to pay for it myself. Any and all recommendations are appreciated!
We're using a company called Fresh Face Forward. They come to you and do hair and make up. They're really affordable...www.freshfacefwd.com if you want to see pictures from my trial PM me
It's still a bit pricey, but it's pretty cool. The Fresh store in Soho does makeup applications/lessons that are redeemable in Fresh products (which are super nice). So you spend $100 to have your makeup applied, but you can also get $100 worth in products too, and they don't have to just be the makeup. http://www.fresh.com/html/find/espace.shtml
I personally love Fresh makeup and wish I lived somewhere with their salon so I could do this. Aveda is a good option too, but call ahead to make sure you're getting the most experienced students.
I know several freelance makeup artists that work for Bobbi Brown. Let me know if you still need a referral, I can give you their email address. rsisk@twofishesartistry.com.

I just booked her for my wedding in November! I had my trial this past weekend and LOVED her work!
GOOD LUCK and CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!
