Regarding the flowers I think sticking with the antique pink will be great. It's a lot softer than a hot pink alternative (or other bright colour).

Are you kidding me? With such a classic colour scheme you can do almost ANYTHING and have it look elegant. I would NOT choose a muted (dusty) pink though. Stick with cool colours, cool red, cool pink, white. Even white with silver bits or frosted leaves could be gorgeous. With such a stark contrast against black you will want to think about the silouhette of the flowers as much as the colour.
Colour and silouhette (shape) are going to matter more than details.

Wow, both of those dresses are gorgeous!
What about blush anemones along with creams and other blush flowers, the black centers will tie in the black and the blush and cream will be soft and elegant.

We are planning an "old Hollywood" style wedding because after all, our wedding reception will be an a glamorous old Hollywood restaurant where we met.
So, initially I had wanted my girls in light/antique pinks which is what I intend with my flowers... all antique colored roses. The restuarant is mainly shades of white with a little gold but mostly silver and dark woods.
But it is REALLY hard to find a shade of pink that doesn't look hideous on my BMS. So they all want to wear this dress in black which on of my BMS already wore for another wedding. I like the idea of the black since all the groomsmen will be in black and I think it is such a classic color, but what do I do about the flowers? They all seem too light next to black.
Just for reference, my dress which is being designed by my BM/future SIL will look similar to this with some changes to details
