I’m having a small crisis. My wedding colors are navy, coral, ivory, and gold. We’re getting married this October. My bridesmaid dress are navy satin chiffon (Bill Levkoff 790) and they have a small shine to them. My fiancé is adamant that he and the groomsmen wear charcoal gray tuxes. Which was my original choice. My flowers are coral and ivory. I also wanted to do accents of gold (i.e. the ribbon on the kissing flower balls, the small lanterns on the tables, the place cards for the table seating, etc). I also thought my bridesmaids would wear gold shoes and gold jewelry since I think it adds a bit a fun to navy.
I mentioned this to my Maid/Matron of Honor yesterday and she thought the gold would look bad with the gray and suggested nude/ivory shoes for the bridesmaids and silver jewelry or a statement necklace in ivory or something. But I love the idea of gold. Please give me your thoughts and help.
