While I think that this whole wedding planning thing would be A LOT easier if I was the type of girl that has dreamed about every detail of my wedding since I was a little girl, I'm just not and I'm at a point of total confusion and I want to give up!  This whole planning and decision making this is so not my cup of tea.  I wanted to elope, my fiance however wants every person he's ever met at our wedding.

I have no idea about my colors for our July wedding.  I've thought about purple and silver, black and fuscia, pink and silver etc. etc.  Now I'm thinking about navy and bright pink but I have NO idea how to put it together.  What do the guys wear if I did this color scheme?!?  We're already registered at Men's Warehouse for tuxes so we pretty much have to go with black tuxes (I was thinking navy dresses with pink flowers and shoes).

I'm sure they have navy or at least dark blue vests and ties. They can also have pink flowers. I feel you on the planning-it's HARD! And not as much fun as I thought. But the further into it I get the easier it's becoming. :-)

I LOVE the navy blue and pink idea.  I guess I would do it like this:

Girls: Navy dresses, Pink shoes and Flowers. OR you could have your bridesmaids were pink dresses with navy shoes and your MOH wear a Navy dress with pink shoes to distinguish her.  I think that always makes the pictures look more interesting.

Guys: traditional black tux with pink pocket squares or pink boutinieres.  You could incorporate the navy with the vests and ties. Or even a navy striped shirt!

I think you can do a lot with these colors!  Let me see if I can find some great inspiration pics... I will post them soon.

    GOod luck and Happy planning!

I love the idea of a pink and navy wedding.  It could be so glamorous or preppy and fun.  Here are some inspiration boards I found for you...

I love that color combination.  I almost went with it myself, but also stumbled with the tux issue but MrsK2be had a great suggestion.  There are some pretty good pictures posted above, and I'm guessing you could find even more by googling pink and navy weddings.  It's tough to make some of those first decisions, but once you do and decide to stick with it, I think some of the planning gets a little bit easier.

i thought the last picture might be most helpful to you to show the guys black tuxes paired with the navy vests/ties.  I think it looks great!  If you want to see more pics from this wedding, look a the following link to their photographer's wedding site. It's "Lexi and Josh's Wedding Album"

    Hope this helps!

I'm doing a 4-color palette of navy blue, hot pink, silver, and champagne. The girls are wearing navy blue dresses and carrying pink flowers. Their shoes will be silver. The decor for the chapel is going to be warmed toned because of how beautiful the chapel interior is, and the reception is where you'll see a lot of silver and champagne with blue and pink accents. It can be done. :)

Thanks SO MUCH for your help everyone!!  I still can't picture how to make it all come together at the reception venue but at least I can see how that desses/flowers/tuxes work!  I don't know why but everytie I mention doing Navy/Pink people look at me like I'm crazy.  I've only got 6 months to go so I better make a decision ASAP.  Should probably decided on my dress too :)
