So both of our bedrooms have corner windows like this. I hate the curtains that are up, not to mention the ones in the master are torn. And suggestions on how to redo them with a little more flair? The master is a beige color right now, and this room will be painted a medium green (Behr’s sanctuary) in the next few weeks.

Hi MrsTilly! Our living room is painted Sanctuary by Behr! We have natural linen curtains (from IKEA) in the living room with dark “wood” blinds (actually vinyl – from Target). When in doubt, I go with whatever the folks at YoungHouseLove.com say to do!

I think my biggest problem is figuring out what curtain rod to use in the corner. There are two valnce rods in there over each window, but you can see the gap in the corner.

My husband and I moved into our first home in May, and the previous owners didn’t put up any curtains on the first floor — and there are a ton of windows. I’m going to shoot for one room at a time to keep my sanity.
I bought hardware for one room, and while I was at Bed Bath and Beyond today I noticed that they sell corner do-dads. So, you can buy a curtain rod for each window, a connector to connect at the corner, and one finial for each window on the other side. Kind of like this one. (I don’t like the curtains pictured, but you get the idea.
