- Wedding: October 2013
Hey bees –
Hoping I can tap into collective creativeness for a moment! My dad and his wife (my stepmom) recently moved across the country and bought a house in the mountains somwhere on the East Coast. They just finished renovating it and are sooo happy – they are considering this the last place they will live (sad to think about, but I understand), and it’s the only place they’ve lived that was theirs together (ie she moved into his place when they got married). So it’s a massive deal for them!
My dad has been emailing us weekly and sometimes daily updates about the move since they made the decision a year ago. I’ve pulled out the pictures he’s sent along with the stories and updates and put together what will be a beautiful Moleskin photo album to give to them as their wedding present from us.
Problem is… the story isn’t quite finished. There’s a still bit left to do and I don’t want to print it until it’s all done, but that’ll be after the wedding!
Any ideas on cute or creative ways I can present him with the concept of the book (and happy to even show him online what I’ve done so far) and give him the option to either finish it theirselves, or let me do it one the final work on the house is done?
