Hi!

That’s a really pretty dress.

Have you thought about adding some of the gauzy material to the edges of the sweetheart neckline?  That may make you more comfortable, but if the material can’t be see-through that might not work.  How high would the neckline need to be to be more modest for you?

I could see removing the straps and creating a short sleeve upper piece like in this photo.

Can you order a custom change and make it a scoop neck?

OOO… I like Mrs. Hot Wings’ idea.  That’s really really pretty.  Kind of Grace Kelly-inspired.  🙂

I’ve heard that if it’s a sweetheart neckline already you can’t make it the reserve (straight) neckline…….although you can change a straight one to a semi-sweetheart…. THe store people told me…. Just a thought. You would have to ask the store/seamstress, etc.

I second the lace Bolero/over piece – the dress is gorgeous and that addition would be an easy one for a seamstress to make
