I agree--the Esmirna will be too hot outdoors in Costa Rica. I tried on Fanal, which is similar in fabric, and I was sweating like a pig in the air conditioned bridal store. :-/ I like the La Sposa better!
The dress in the top picture is so beautiful and fits your perfectly :) I would definitely go with that one :)
They are both beautiful, however the first one just screams "this is it" to me. It is gorgeous.
I agree with you that the Esmirna would be too hot.. That's a lot of satin/silk satin/heavy material! I also just love the La Sposa.. it's so gorgeous!
I am a huuuge fan of lace and layers, so i love the second. i think it is more unique than the first, and you look great!
I can imagine the Esmirna would be very hot. The Madeira looks great so I would go with that one!

I got confused as to which dress was which name ... I like the bottom one best :)
I would have to say the top dress!! especially if your in the sand... the lace on the other one might be hard to get the sand out of the lace ahhhh!!!
they both fit you perfectly! look at your hour-glass-shaped body! i voted for the san patrick one because i feel the other one has too much details and doesn't look "clean".
I absolutely adore the first one, oh my god that neckline is to die for! I actually think they both look way too hot for a Costa Rica wedding. Is there any way to get either of them made in a lighter-weight fabric, or eliminate some of the layers underneath? I think you could get away with that in the first, but not the second.
I really love the first one and I think that both will be hot regardless :) Go with the one that you felt the best in no matter what!
I like the bottom one the best. Really flattering and I love the bottom of the dress.

I like the first one better than the second one, but I think it will be way too hot for your destination wedding. I think the second one does look good on you and is flattering, though, I just don't like it as much as the first.
the top of the first one looks amazing on you! it does look a little heavy though so you might be hot. but atleast you'll also be LOOKING hot haha! They are both beautiful but my vote is for the first one.
Honestly, you look stunning in both. Loike wow. it is the perfect shape for you! But I voted for the bottom because it seems to be more fitting for a wedding in Costa Rica, and you def. don't want anything that is going to be too hot! they are both so yummy, you can't go wrong with either though!

The first one looks so great, how long would you be outdoors? I definitely like it more than the second (although, the second one is also pretty). If its just the ceremony outside I would say deal with the heat!!

Oh, the Esmirna is to die for!!!! You look absolutely fabulous in it! Makes me want to get married all over again. You also look great in the second one, but to me the first one just screams Vavavoom without being too busy or over the top.

The shape and colour of the first one fits your perfectly! Although, there's no denying that second one is also gorgeous! I think it's win-win either way!
Thanks for the kind words and wonderful insight :) I'm leaning towards the 1st one (Esmirna) and trying to convince myself I can deal with the heat. I can't find a definitive answer on the web as to how warm it will be in May but the ceremony will start late afternoon so I may be sweltering a couple hours only while the sun is up but at least I will be "looking hot" as ariellebride cleverly noted :) Thanks again.
Honestly, I don't think one looks lighter than the other. Either way, there's alot of fabric, layers and not alot of air circulation.
I LOVE the first dress on you. I think it would really look great in Costa Rica especially in a Spanish-styled area.

Please help me pick the dress!! I love them both but I'm having a really hard time deciding. The wedding will be in Costa Rica in May; we haven't yet decided if it'll be on the beach but the ceremony will be outdoors with the possibility of the reception being indoors. My worry is that the Esmirna will be too heavy and too hot for an outdoor wedding. Thanks.
