My wedding is about 100 guests and a wedding party of 3 bridesmaids and 3 groomsmen. I'm on a budget, so my florist cost is $750. That includes an altar arrangement, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, 6 bouts, 2 corsages, 1 bridal bouquet and 12 centerpieces. My centerpieces are just hydrangeas in a small vase, since those are relatively inexpensive flowers. All the other flowers will be roses. I live in a metropolitan area, so I did a lot of research to find someone local who was also reasonable.
That seems like a reasonable quote but if you want to do it for less, you could do some things to cut down the cost. I have 8 bridesmaids, 8 groomsmen, altar arrangements, 14 centerpieces plus buffet table arrangements, and 8 boutineers/corsages for parents/grandparents. My total floral cost is $2300, which I was pleasantly surprised with because that includes floral centerpieces. One thing I did to reduce the cost is alternating 2 different types of centerpieces around the room so I get the drama I want out of large centerpieces but I save a bit in cost because I'm not using them on every table. I'm using calla lilies but you can do this with any flower - tall centerpieces on half the tables and submerged calla lilies with floating candles on the other half - this saved me hundreds. Just a helpful hint that a florist friend told me and I ended up loving the look and saving money. :)
4 bm, 4 gm, 13 centerpieces, a big placecard table arrangement, small cocktail hour decorations, cake decorations and sweetheart table arrangements... about $4500
I have no clue what's the norm when it comes to the flowers, but for our's we were quoted for a bridal bouquet, MOH bouqet, toss bouquet, Best Woman corsage, Groom's boutineere (X2), 8 bout's, 6 corsages, rental of mirrors, vases (large and votives), flower and candles for 36 centerpieces + sweetheart table, plus delivery and set up, came to about $850. I'm buying the gem-stones and large floating candles for the centerpieces.

Hello Hive,
I am currently looking for a florist. I have recieved a few quotes but everything is about $4,000. I have 9 bridesmaids, 9 groomsman, 4 ushers, and a total of 8 parents/grandparents. I have 20 table arrangements, ceremony/alter decor, and decor for guest book tables, signs, coctail tables, etc. Is this a reasonable quote?
How much is your budget/quote? How big is your wedding?
