What do you mean by 'it looks weird'? Weird like bumpy? or just too much?
What about getting a very, very, very lightweight fabric and wrapping them in that? (Cut pieces to be pen sized, long thin rectangles so it would have a 'seam' running the whole length.)
I'm not sure about the ribbon :( but green WOULD stick with the flower theme :)
It just looks bumpy b/c it's kinda thick, & with the pattern it just looks weird.
If I did the lightweight fabric I would just cut really small pieces & wrap it one piece at a time to cover it?
Purple's just one of the accent colors-the rest is all pink & yellow.
maybe get a wider ribbon so that it doesn't have to wrap around so many times, or use a solid colour. Green might be good to look like the stems of the flowers

So I'm making some pens with flowers I have-you know, I wrapped floral tape around the flower & the pen, but the tape is slightly tacky. I would like to wrap some ribbon around it, and I got purple ribbon with white polka dots. When I wrap it so it overlaps it's way down, it looks weird.
Any suggestions on what I should do? Should I just wrap it around once and do that the entire pen? Not all of the pens have floral tape the entire way down. Or, should I just go get green ribbon & wrap that?
I'll appreciate any suggestions! Thanks!
