So I needed to get my invitations ordered like yesterday but for some reason like everything else I kept putting it off. Now I’m down to two designs and I’m just not sure on which to go with.
Design 1: This one is my design and would also end up being cheaper. However the top of the blue flower irritates me and I’m not sure how to align my wording to look right. I also need to make the top words a little bit smaller I think.
Design 2: This one is the design I would order and also more expensive.

Personally I like the 2nd

Depends on how much cheaper. You did an amazing job on your DIY’s, but I do think the second one looks cleaner. If it’s a major savings, I think your DIY ones are perfect!

I think the one you made looks really good! I like it better than the second one. :]

i think both are really nice, i prefer the 2nd one though, you did a fabulous job on the 1st ones by the way 🙂

Thanks for the replies bees. I’m still torn I do really love the ones from the website but they are $150 more than having someone print the DIY ones, and they would fit funny in my pocketfolds…

I’d fix whatever problems you have with the top one and go with that. There is no reason to pay a lot more money for something that looks very similar. (IMO)
Can you adjust your design so the flowers are at the bottom? That leaf border wouldn’t be hard to make either…

I love the 1st. I love the abstract flowers much more than the second one invitation set.

If you go with your design, change the text alignment to be all right-aligned. It looks wrong to have some text right-aligned and some centered. And I agree, the text on the top should be the same size as the text on the bottom.

I like ht DIY – just align everything to the right. I’ve seen many invited aligned that way. Looks great.

I like your DIY design, but having just finished my DIY invitations, I feel it is my bee duty to tell you to buy yours!! 🙂 Seriously… I’d say I was about 1/4 in to the process and I was saying…”why did I want to do this myself?!”

I agree with JenniferG’s. Your DIY invite is really great! Just be consistent with the alignment and the text size.

I think your DIYs are beautiful. I also think that if you change the font on your DIY, they will look more like the professional ones and feel more elegant.

Your DIY’s are nice, but I don’t like the dots on top of the flowers for some reason. And the font. Minor changes.
