my wedding is in less than a month.. eeks! so exciting. :). i think it really just finally hit me this afternoon that i’m getting married!! anyway.. i’m trying to figure out my wedding day jewelry. although i think that perhaps simple classic-y earrings may look best with my dress, the truth of the matter is that my neck and shoulders feel kind of naked in the strapless dress (it wasn’t what i originally wanted, but that’s another story). i know it may detract somewhat from the dress, but i was wondering if people had any ideas/suggestions of affordable (less than $50, way less would be great–and i’m a huge etsy fan!) of necklaces (with matching earrings?) that wouldn’t detract TOO much…
i’m also wearing a birdcage veil & fascinator made by kasia fink 🙂 also known as mrs seabreeze around here!
here is my dress and the shoes i’m wearing with it (which i thought originally were too much but changed my mind!):
any advice or ideas would beg reatly appreciated!!
also, random but: i love necklaces with (small) trees or branches or things like that–my name means tree!

my hair will be up… in a slightly messy very bobby-pinned do 🙂

Your dress & shoes are lovely! If I were you I wouldn’t wear a necklace. The neckline of your dress is detailed enough 🙂 If you must have a necklace- keep it simple!
I would suggest getting some beautiful earrings instead, especially if your hair is up!

just curious…who makes your dress? It is beautiful!

I have to agree with someone else, I think with the neckline- you don’t need a necklace- maybe some earrings though.

Definitely not a necklace AND earrings, unless both are very, very simple.
I agree with the others that with a lovely detailed neckline like your gown, earrings are the way to go. I would either go longer and less dense or shorter with more beads/crystals. With the hairstyle you described, the longer option would probably be perfect!
