I don't know of any, but I'm looking for info as well. (Sort of) I'm not exactly on the bandwagon as far as kilts go. What can I say? I love my fireman but I'm not a fan of his obsession with kilts! ;)
In my area, all the tux rental places also have kilts to rent. I suppose I'm from a kind of Scottish area, but it's not super Scottish.....See if some of the regular suit/tux places have rentals in your area. Sometimes the local store doesn't have them if you are from a small place, but they might have contacts with other stores.
In case anyone out there is interested in info on renting kilts, I wanted to let you all know that my FI found a company to use! They are based in Arizona and were used by a girl I know. She and her husband had great things to say about them. We've already been in touch with them about reserving kilts for our wedding, and they've been really responsive and helpful so far. Here's the site:
My super Irish fiancee will be renting from www.piperscove.com which is a local shop in New Jersey. All of the groomsmen are there to be fitted but they do ship nationwide for fittings. We're having them shipped to our NC wedding location. The price is pretty comprable to a regular tux too. The tartan (Irish National) has totally changed my dream of a pink wedding but I think it will all come together- embrace the kilt! What color are your bridesmaids dresses?
Thanks, Grits! My bridesmaid's dresses are navy, and the guys are going to be in all different tartans (black watch, Irish National, Scotland Forever, All Ireland Blue), so we are going to have a LOT of colors going on! They're all in the same blue/green family, though...
I think that all that color will be really cool! All of our guys are going to be the same, with the bridesmaids in black...but I am leaning more towards navy all the time. Would love to see pictures :)

Even before he met me, my FI has always wanted to wear a kilt for his wedding! (He's American, but of Scottish and Irish descent.) But now that our wedding is just five months away, he's starting to realize that buying himself a kilt and finding a place for his groomsmen to rent their kilts is a little more complicated than he'd thought. All the websites he's finding look the same, and we have no way of knowing which companies would be good to work with. Any of you bees have any kilt purchase and/or rental experience that you'd be willing to share? Thanks!
