To me, it looks like you're going for glowy skin and defined (but not necessarily too smokey) eyes? I loooove that first pic, I'll need to add it as one to show the makeup artist.
@Hilsy - Yes! Good. I want a little color on the lip but not too much. I love me a red lip but I think since I'm so pale in my wedding pics it would be too much so I'm deciding against it. I want some sort of lip though.
I think that first pic of Liv Tyler is gorrrrgeous! I like the idea of smoky defined eyes, bold enough to look amazing, and a pretty mouth. Her color palette looks really fresh as well. One thing I've noticed from all these pics is what a difference lip color makes. Pale pink, bronze, coral, nude, or light rose completely change the look.
For me, I am toying with different options:
1. liquid eyeliner in black, subdoed cat eye, and shimmery light beige shadow with cherry lips. (I would use lip stain such as Benetint.) This is more Hollywood glamour.
2. Defined smoky eye in grayish brown. Cheek highlights, and pale pink (or nude) lips. I do this one a lot and it's lovely.
3. Natural- Sometimes I wonder if I have the balls do this: It would be eye defining shadows in shades of beige, no eye liner (just light brown shadow used as a liner,) peach cheeks and nude lips. The idea behind this one is, "I woke up looking this gorgeous." It's hard to take away a girl's eye liner though :)

My makeup trial is this weekend and I still can't decide on a look. I can't decide whether to go glam or natural/blushing bride-y. I need inspiration pics. Someone help. I'm wearing my hair in a low chignon and my dress is a fit and flare lace with a chapel train, if that helps.
Need hive help in a major way.
