I need your help please with choosing a veil to wear with my dress. I had originally wanted a waist length veil (I’m not sure what the official term is for that length), but I’m now toying with the idea of having a long veil.
I’m only 5’2 though so I’m not sure what would suit me best. I have added a couple of images of my dress, but it’s the model picture as I don’t have one of me in it yet. I won’t be wearing the lace shrug but it gives you an idea of the back.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated bees x

I say go with it! Long veils are GORG in pictures. I’m 5’4, and when I tried one on with the dress at the store, it was a little bulkier than I would have wanted, but I loved the long look, and I didn’t feel like it made me look short at all.

I forgot to say, that my concern with the waist length veil is that it will cover up the dipped back and the pretty buttons

@summer_1981: I think a long veil would be sheer enough to show off some of the detail – plus, you can take it off after the ceremony and show off the back of your beautiful gown for the rest of the night?
I love the drama of long veils, personally.

I think long sheer veils are gorgeous.

I thik a long veil would be pretty with your dress but I would keep it 1 teir and simple not to take away from the beautiful detail of the lace on the back.
