Hey, I’m getting married on December 3rd, this year. My fiance is in the Army, active duty, and wearing his Class A greens. His groomsmans are also wearing their uniforms. Anyways, I’m curious what color my braidsmaids should wear.
I have no idea.

Sorry, I can’t be of much help but I didn’t want you think no-one had looked at your post. Is the army green a lightish green? How about brown BM dreses? You could if you wanted to, team it up with a brighter colour to use both then as your theme.

Honestly, put your bridesmaids in any color you want. Uniforms, including the Class A’s should be treated as a neutral color. I would personally go for a bright, bold color. Since it is a December wedding, perhaps a deep red? Or maybe go light and winter-like with a silvery blue?

Are they black or green? From Google, it looked like they were black, in which case, have at whatever color you want!
If they’re green, I would do a yelow or a pale blue, I think those colors go together really well.

I agree with penguingal uniforms are neutral and any color will go with them so pick your dream color and congrats!

Haven’t Class A’s been discontinued? Your wedding pics will be a nice piece of history 🙂
Any color would work- but I would stay away from green for bridesmaids. Too much of a good thing.

My FI’s cousin married an army officer, but I think he might have worn his dress blues? His uniform wasn’t green, which is why I say that.
She put her bridesmaids in brown dresses, and her dress was a champagne color. Her flowers were purple.
I think if their uniforms are green, you could get away with other neutral shades like brown, tan, champagne, etc, as well as brighter colors that compliment green.
Since it’s winter, I second the idea of red, but i also love the idea of putting BMs in gold (it’s such a pretty winter color)

@JennJenn2010: A sage dress with ivory ribbon would be nice. That is what I wore in a wedding about 5 years ago. The lighter green is pretty.

Dress blues are the going to be the new official service dress uniform for the Army – but they are not manditory until like 2014 or something, so class As (Green) are still perfectly OK to wear.
I would think that gold, black, or any more feminine color like red or rose would be nice with them. I love pink and green together.

My future son in law and his friends chose to wear tuxedo’s and not wear their class A’s, but to me I would think it would be better to compliment the military uniforms with a neutral color of Ivory or maybe champagne. It is always totally up to what you deem fits. Good luck to you and yours
