- Wedding: April 2011
Hi Bees! I have been reading a lot of boards on here and everyone is SO helpful so i decided to make an account and get some opinions! I am having an outdoor wedding and I am trying to decide on my ceremony music. I want it to be a little bubbly and flirty. It’s hard to describe but almost like what you would see in a movie in a wedding scene! However I love country too but none of the songs I picked out are country, I think there is a fine line between just wayyyyy too country and country/sweet. Here is what I have, the DJ said he was perfectly fine with switching things up until the day before if I change my mind so let me know what y’all thin. The dilemma I’m having is if the songs flow?? Thanks Bees!
Parents/Grandparents: Jack Johnson- Better Together
Bridesmaids: Michael Buble- Everything (too fast?)
Bride: an original song written by a friend for me on an acoustic guitar (just music, no words) I was thinking of using “Yellow” by VSQ because I do love it, but I just wasn’t 100% feeling it for my ceremony.
Recessional: Uncle Kracker “Smile” (Starting at chorus)
AHHHH! I am having the hardest time with this. To me Music is one thing that totally sets the mood for your ceremony and I want to make sure I set the mood I want!
