I feel like the vera has so much more texture to it not just in layers like you said but there are various materials used in it (like i see lots mire lace and some pleated satin that I am missing in the replica) but, over all it still looks very nice

Its a beautiful dress but like all replicas I don’t think it bears much resemblance to the original.  If I were you I would concentrate on getting it sized correctly and that any specific details you want are included and then I am sure you will love your dream dress and be over the moon!

Just don’t get hung up on whether or not it passes for a Vera!

Ainy:  I don’t think the waist looks too long – I actually think that is one of the things that does make it look ‘Vera’ they seem to occur on a lot of her dresses and are very flattering.

I really do think the the dress is lovely though so stop worrying- my personal opinion would be to consider that you may still need to take it to a local seamstress for exact alterations once you actually have it on your body!
