I personally would choose diamond white as a really harsh stark white can be a little unflattering sometimes, and diamond white photographs well anyway.

I don’t think a juliette cap would look great with this style of dress, and I think it might look odd with short hair too. I think a shoulder length veil would look better.

If you are worried about looking like a cupcake, you could request less tulle in the underskirt, and then add an additional petticoat if needed. Also, you can always get the skirt hemmed if you think its too long.

@PixieLaRoux: I think a veil like this would be so cute with the style of dress you are getting:

Diamond white is a softer white, not creamy or yellowish like ivory, and not blue-white like stark white.

@PixieLaRoux:  I got the off white and am very happy I did.  It is warm and doesn’t register as anything other than white.  Their true white seems a little too sterile for me, but might be okay if you have a very “cool” complexion.

@PixieLaRoux:  I think spotted tulle for the veil might be a little bit too much, but if you’re usually an OTT person, it’s probably perfect! The veil is from Dolly Couture, they could probably customise it to spotted tulle, or you could easily make your own (probably for cheaper, it’s $95).

@PixieLaRoux:  My dress was diamond white. I’m very fair skinned and it was perfect for me! It wasn’t creamy colored at all. Unless I stood next to someone in stark white, you couldn’t tell a difference at all.

Hi, Sorry to revive an old thread but have you received your dress from Jasmines yet? I’d love to see how it turns out – i tried on some mooshki dresses last week and they are gorgeous but so expensive!
